1. Which topics or industries are you most experienced in?
Over the years, alcohol, finance, food, retail, agriculture, social upliftment, personal development, lifestyle, immigration, property.
2. Do you work on conceptual campaigns?
Pffff. Easy peasy. My experience in agencies with big brand clients helped me hone these skills.
3. Will you quote upfront for a large project?
Absolutely. I love nothing more than to sink my teeth into something meaty, for a set project fee.
4. Will you take a contract to work on-site, full time?
No, I will take part-time WFH contracts, but due to client commitments cannot take on full-time contracts.
5. Do you do pro bono work?
Does the pope shit in the woods?
6. Will you write something for free, in exchange for exposure?
Are you The New York Times? Then, yes, yes I will.
7. Are you open to a trade exchange?
Hell yeah. Especially if you’re in the ice cream, tattoo or literary industry.
8. What else do you write?
What else do YOU write? Sorry about the outburst. I sometimes write thoughts about life and attitude and karma and stuff like that. Read it here if you like.
9. Will you sign an NDA?
I will sign an NDA. I will also seal my lips and I will take it to the grave.
10. Do you write in Afrikaans too?
I’ve only really done one big campaign in Afrikaans. It was for Kyknet. Not to brag or anything, but I won a Silver Pendoring Award. I write the odd social media post or emailer in Afrikaans from time to time, and have a translator on hand for larger projects.
11. What are your rates?
Please email me for hourly, daily and project rates, or to quote for your entire project.
12. Can I see samples of your work?
As long as there’s no NDA involved, I’ll happily send you examples of scripts, reports, websites, articles and other work.
